Songs sound fuzzy

Hi Uploaded some albums onto my ipod from cds a few days ago and noiticed today about 3 or 4 albums where the songs sounded all fuzzy,Has anyone experienced this before?

Do the songs you already had on the system sound the same as they did? Have the import settings on iTunes been changed?

It may be a case of the CDs being scratched or dust/dirt on the lens, or if you were using a program with a high CPU usage while importing the CDs it may have interfered with the ripping process.
