Wanted: Moutain Bike tube

    Might come across as a strange request, do you have an old, puntured tube for a mountain bike lying about? Was looking for one to use as a sleeve for my chain as the current fabric one is falling apart.

    If you go into your local bike shop, they will surely give you an old tube.
    Bike shops don't mend punctures any more, they just replace the punctured tube with a new one ( insurance companies insist on this)
    So they will most lightly have tons of them, in their rubish bin.
    Tell them what you intend doing with the old tube, otherwise they may not give you one. (Insurance monkeys again)
