Where does on buy luggage for a Blackbird? Is textile luggage pointless? Any idea what one would pay roughly?

Used soft luggage for a few years without any issues. Definitely wouldnt say it's pointless.

What do you want the luggage for? Your needs will really determine what is most cost effective.

If it's only occasional use, going away for the weekend or such get a set of quality throwovers, just make sure that they are properly secured as a bag slipping and catching in a wheel at motorway speeds ain't pretty:eek:

If you are going for a long trip or frequent use get hard luggage. If you are going to be using the luggage daily for instance to carry a laptop get hard luggage, but be aware of how the increased width will affect your filtering.

You might be able to get by with a topbox or tailbag which won't affect handling as much as a topbox. Maybe a big tankbag will be enough if you only want to carry small items.

Where in the Dublin region has a good selection to try them on?

My bike has a tail tidy so I need to try a few types to see which will fit safely.
