I checked two weeks ago to see that I was still on the register and I was.

To my surprise no polling card has arrived and I am now not on it following a check again?

Is it too late to get back on it?

    any info would be great.

Hope you don't mind me butting in on this too? :)

I sent in my change of address form to Dublin city council almost 3 weeks ago. I checked the register and my name is still not on it?

    Any info on this?

Did you get a form stamped at the garda station to be put on the supplementary register?

yeah I got that done and posted at the end of January. I posted it in the city centre so it would have been there the next day?

I too, checked a few weeks ago and was apparently not on the register. Sent an email about that and got a response confirming that I am on the register.
Checked again today but still not listed, so sent another email.

...and it came to pass that my polling card arrived.

Perhaps 'Check The Register' is using the edited version.

You may not get a polling card but could still be on the register. If you bring ID to the polling station you can still vote if your on the register. This is my understanding of it anyway.

Yeah sorry should have made that clear. If you get on the supplementary register its not put on the register on the internet until November, you can still vote but your name not included on their website.

Thats what i understood off the lady when i rang to ask why is my name not on it.I done the supplementary register

Myself and my husband checked the online thing, both were apparently removed from the electoral reg, we tried to get our stuff together but missed the last day so resigned ourselves to being non electorat..... lo and behold 2 polling cards turned up today... even tho the online thing said we weren't registered!!

Maybe they will just appear like ours did!

How would I go about taking my name off the Register of Electors?

    Hi,
as the question asked is it too late to change my polling address. I have been living in Dublin 10 years and have never bothered to change my voting address. I don't fancy driving two hours down and two hours back to vote so have decided I must change my address.
Originally I didn't want to change as for local elections I would know a lot more about the candidates at home so wanted to keep my vote there.
What do I need to do?
    Thanks for any replies!
