    Hi all,

Started shooting with a 243 using 58gr Hornady, bullet seems to be dropping after 250 yards. Is there any other gr bullet that would shoot out further without adjusting the scope for foxes?

    no mate there isnt
if ya could get a different brand in 58 grain yad still have to readjust the scope as different brand fire different from the same gun

all bullets will drop after 250 yards anyway mate
ya just have to adjust the scope or your aim
why dont ya try a heavier bullet anyway maybe 80 or 100 grain

Just about nothing flatter than that light load out of a .243. It's the same as an 85gr bullet from my .25-06, which is like a laser beam. Nothing you can do about gravity. You're going to get bullet drop. Just need to learn to estimate it. You could try zero it for about an inch and a half high at a hundred, shouldn't go higher than about two inches above point of aim or more than about two inches below out to 250+ then.
