Do you lock the jacks door when there's no-one else in the house?

I do. Usually. But if I'm feeling extra rebellious I leave it open

If I am left unsupervised I will eat pizza and burgers.

They say ethics are how you will act when no-one else is around.

So, what do you do? Do you lock the door, or dance in your underwear in the hall?

I tend to leave the door wide open when other people are in the house. I like to share the experience.

    Wo ist die Gemütlichkeit?

I leave the door open in case anybody comes back so I can do a Splinter Cell and silently slither back to my room unoticed.............maybe even leave a "mystery" in there for them to solve. It'll be like a game of "whodunnit!!" for them :P

Never lock the door, even with people in the house, the lock is gammy and I don't want to be stuck in there.
If alone I sometimes leave the door open so I can watch TV, if there is something good on.

Is this in the Jacks with the door open or the door locked?....I'm confused

Mate of mine recently broke up with this bird he was seeing for a few months, over a few things but chief among them was the fact that she had no door on her jacks! (that's not a euphemism by the way:))
He said she'd be having a bath (no shower either!) and her kids would be coming in and out go to the jacks and doing whatever and it just freaked him out. She had her nipple pierced and shaved her fandango and he felt that her 13 year old son looking at this was a bit strange to say the least!
I have to say, i agree with him, would have freaked me out too!
    Classy bird or what.

Oh and to answer the question, when it's a number 2 i close the door even when i'm alone. Number 1 is a spectator sport, number 2 is best best shrouded in mystery and fumes!

Probably is more mannerly to close the door if releasing a brown trout however door mostly left open when draining the spuds. I like to hit the water centre on so the noise will deter onlookers.

I once felt it open. People came home as the kids were dropping to the pool. No time to get to door. It was embarrassing. Now I close the door.

I'd close the door but not lock it, have to keep the stink in there!
Like to walk around naked after a shower alright, sometimes I look into the mirror, catch my willy, spin it around and shout 'woo woo' for entertainment :pac:

There are no doors to lock in my neighbours back garden.

I live by myself but i still lock the door. I live in the country where people just wander into the house unannounced. Be a good way to stop that happening though!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,536 ✭✭✭Dolph Starbeam

When i have the house to myself and i know nobody will be coming home i like to leave it open, i'd probably feel spoiled if i did it all the time though.

Shared a flat with two lads in college. Both were out and I was home alone watching the Champions League. Nature called in the final 10 minutes and a hasty dump was required. Dilemma, so I turned the TV around so that I could see it from the bathroom down the hallway and got down to business. Problem solved until the door in the middle of the hallway opens and in walks one of the lads with his mum and sister.

Did they block your view of the tv?

Yes, because the one time that I decide not to lock the door will be the one time that someone will walk in on me. I'm usually very fortunate like that.

I grew up in a house with one small bathroom and 11 people to share it. Habit was to leave it open. Many a morning the toilet, the shower and the sink would all be being used simultaneously. I don't live at home anymore but even now I leave it open if the housemates are out. Sure if I'm going to the toilet in the middle of the night I won't bother putting underwear on, the housemates have an ensuite and not much chanc of them walking out. The small risk excites me enough to make peeing difficult though...

I was watching the Superbowl in a friends house, mixed company, plenty of beer and burgers, sliders, onions, pizza, tex-mex.

There was a fair bit of traffic to the thunderbox ,but I hoped to make it to the Black Eyed peas at the half-time.

Towards the end of the second quarter felt a little pressure on the rusty bullet hole, but was confident I could hold out.

    I was wrong.

With about a buck 55 on the clock she started 'crowning' and it was an emergency. Up the stairs in a hurry, down with the kex, swivel and horsed out a splodgy sleeve of foul smelling midden which had a wide footprint and coated the pot in a shroud of badness.

Looked up and saw one of the females climbing the stairs and surveying the scene with disgust.

Had forgotten to close the door.

Difficult evening after that,Packers win was the only solace.
