Apparently pubs can't buy drink like bottles of Miller for what Tesco and Dunnes sell it for so I doubt it'll be much cheaper in a wholesalers.

I'd be in Musgraves every month or so, they would supply many small stores with wines / beer.

I don't think I've ever actually bought wines / beer spirits there as supermarket / off licence deals will always be better value.

I hear a lot of complaints from the vintners about the supermarkets.

But I still see our local publican stocking up in Tesco, 20 bottles of Miller for €15, can't go wrong with that ;)
Can't take their complaints seriously when you see that

OP, wholesalers are good for many things, alcohol isn't one of them

We had a party recently and the local offy did us a deal on the drink and also gave us sale or return on it which was very decent.

No harm in asking what kind of deal they would do you. we even had our delivered.

    Value was roughly €500
