Leincar made a prediction in this thread for 15 seats nationwide and none in Dublin. When you scroll down and read his rationale for his prediction, some of it makes sense.

I predicted 1. Lenihan in Dublin West.

Beginning to think that. Lenihan alone and even he's a maybe.

I think last seat fights are the only possibilities for FF having any seats in the capital on Feb 26th:

    Dub C - Fitzpatrick - remote
    DubMW- Curran - remote
    DubN - O'Brien - remote
DubNC- Haughey - slightly above remote
    DubNE- Power - no chance
    DubNW- Carey - remote
DubS - Corrigan - no chance
    DubSC- Mulcahy - no chance
DubSE - Andrews - no chance
    DubSW- Lenihan/OConnor - remote
DubW - Lenihan - slightly above remote
    DunL- Hanafin/Andrews - remote

Hopefully none. I think Kennedy may get one in Dublin North - old age pensioners and the like.

I can only see one with a chance to get back in and that is Brian Lenihan. So that is a one from me. Optimistically I am hoping for that to be a nice big fat zero :)

I think that Lenihan is in a tough seat too, though. Higgins, Varadkar, Joan Burton - all nationally known.

EDIT: Sorry, its a four seater. He has a hope then ( although he lost to Nulty on the boards poll).
