    Hey folks,
The girlfriend and I didn't received our weekly BTEA payment today. Just wondering if this happened to anyone else? No idea why they'd do that and not contact us about it.

    Any info would be appreciated..

got mine y/day but in the post today was a letter saying my btea is under review and that i need to send a letter from the uni in to say i'm still attending.

I already gave this in in September but it appears you haveto give one in every semester.

    Annoying.

This is what it was. We went down to the SWO today and were told our payments were suspended as we had not returned the letter. We never GOT the letter in the first place. So, if something happens with the post and you get no letter then they cut your money without any notification or phone call. Beautiful. And if you're in college 9-5 you're pretty buggered and are forced to miss a day to sort it out. Not cool at ALL. You'd think they'd just send the bloody thing TO my college?

this happened to me and my brother today, we only realised after 5pm though. I'm majorly screwed as I'm studying in the UK and have no way to get to the welfare office etc, and really cant afford to wait around a week or two to get a letter to them for my payments to be started again
