Indoor Self made feed bin

I buy beef ration in bulk - collecting with a trailer in the co-op. I keep about 40-50 cattle over the winter ( part time farming:D). Anyhow, the same trailer is permanently full of meal which is a pain as I often need it.

I was thinking of making a home made feed bin and get around 2-3 tonne blown in at a time. Has anyone ever made one? , I'm thinking marine plywood, angle iron etc... something to keep out rodents, birds and dampness.

Any advice/ examples greatly appreciated.

have you a corner of a shed you can close off, you could just use blocks if you wanted amore permanent job and put a door on it, we have a small area closed off, maybe 10ft by 5ft and just blow the stuff in there, nothing fancy, i just put a board across the open and it keeps the nuts in, have a flock of cats that sleep (and ****) nearby so dont think the rats chance it, i can get 3 -4 ton in there easy

But, nowadays you can get a ton in bags on a pallet, for not a whole lot more then the bulk job.
Neater, and less waste. Plus the guy over the road, who sells bagged firewood, takes the bags off me, and drops me an occasional bag of wood in return
