looking for some basic Advise, ( yes again :) ) On converting a bungalow`s attic into a office/Games room or possibly a room with bed,, and looking for what first off Details i need to be looking at,, I know I need a fire door..
We have a large sitting room and lots of room for the stairs, so thats cool.
issue really is standing up , I am 6ft and standing at the apex of the attic now its only a couple of inches taller than me,, worth it? not worth it?
Its been a while since i looked into it, ( possible asking on here about 3/4 years back) any advise would be very helpful :)

Not worth it in your case, imo.
You will never be able to put a habitable room up there without getting planning permission and raising the roof. The ceiling joists may not be good enough to take a floor. The sitting room may not be the best place to take down a stairs (end of stairs should be within 4.5m of a final exit), electrics, plumbing (existing water tanks), windows, insulations, sound proofing, etc., etc., It may be cheaper to extend.

No fire door needed. (unless i'm missing something)
The reason a fire door is required normally for a conversation, is that it now makes a regular house into a 3 story building. As you have a bungalow, this doesn't apply, ditto to 4.5m to final exit.

But that said, you simply don't have enough space for a bedroom without a new roof

Thanks Guys,, all the info I needed..

Was specking with my neighbour last night, and got informed that they did it, wnet in to have a look, Basically they put a sky light in converted it,, seems the Kids play up there and Himself uses it for watching some TV in peace,
But I then found out that they may have to remove it all When selling etc, as they dont think it`s compliant,, So scrap that,

    cheers again

You don't have to remove it. It's perfectly acceptable to make an attic more accessible, be it florring, plasterboard walls, skylight etc.
But ultimately its a storage space its not counted towards the house area or as a bedroom
