Schools in Dublin 3 (Clontarf)...?

    Hello,

We will be moving within the year to Clontarf and I am looking to put my daughter's name on a number of primary schools in the Dublin 3 area. I have done some online research but am finding personable reviews for the various schools few an far between. As it stands, we have her name on the list for Greenlanes NS.

Can anyone tell me what they know about this school or how they have found it from experience?
Can anyone recommend any other primary schools in the area, or thereabouts?
I am not interested in fee-paying primary schools, am happy to consider multi-denominational schools and do not have single-sex/co-ed issues too high on my list of priorities.... yet!... (Class numbers would be very high)
I would not rule out a Gaelscoil, although I am not a fluent speaker and neither is my other half.

Thanks (in advance), I'm really interested to hear some feedback. It's just so important to find the right school and one we'll all be happy with.

    Hi Squirm
Just wondering if you had any replies to your message, or if you have any experiences to share since you posted this?! Sorry - I know it's a while ago. I'm looking at moving into the Dublin 3 area, more towards the fairview end, but just wondered about the schools myself and can't seem to find too much info about. any thoughts would be much appreciated.

    Hi,

Primary Schools in Dublin 3/Clontarf as follows: Belgrove is the main school; located on Seafield Road...one serving boys and separate one serving girls. Both are Catholic denomination.

If you're living in Fairview there's St. Mary's N.S (Catholic) and Howth Road Mixed NS (Church of Ireland AFAIK)

You'll find them all listed here...note Scoil Eoin Baisde is Belgrove...but listed under the "official" name. http://www.schooldays.ie/primary-schools-in-ireland/primary-Dublin-3

    Hope this helps

Howth Road Mixed NS isn't Church of Ireland it's Presbyterian.
