In a purely me féin scenario. Who should I vote, to keep my own best interests at heart?

    Labour?
    FF?

Fianna Fail might have public servant voters interest, but remember, while they might not cut the wages again, they will most certainly increase taxes in another way that will definitely affect you.

TCO myself (til end of 2012), and definitely not voting FF.

    Labour no1.

Fine Gael might get a low vote..

Labour seem to have the most favourable policies for PS employees

Nominations closed a week ago so you're too late to vote me féin.

Doesn't really matter anyway, the IMF and the ECB are in charge.

It depends if you see yourself as a lifer.

If you do - go Labour.
If you don't - go Fine Gael.

If you want the PS to remain a retirement home for those who would have been fired from a private sector job long ago for anything from absenteeism to just plain not doing their job, fote FF.
If you want the best paid higher grades to be able to retire early with a nice golden handshake, vote Labour.
If you want the PS to again be respected as an efficient work environment, vote FG.
I hear every day from my elder, I.T. illiterate co-workers that fg will be bad for the PS. If it means they will be forced to learn how to use their computers, bring it on.

Oh, if you want all PS workers to be sacked by a political party who do not recognise any part of the state as legitimate, vote SF.

Perhaps you missed Labours plans to increase taxes more than any other party?

I think you should consider that what is good for all might be in the best interests of each one of us.
