im heading on a 12 mth round the world trip (SE Asia, Oz,NZ, Sth America & central america)
ive been researching travel insurance
Trailfinders want 700 eur for 12 mths (incls wintersports as will be skiing in Chile)
Ace want about 400 eur for same policy
other companies like getcover are much cheaper at c200 eur but not comparing like with like in terms of what is covered.

anyone any experience of claiming off travel insurance companies as this is the crux in terms of which is best? they all sound great but will they pay up??
