    Has anyone here ever been contacted by the organisations that carry out the opinion polls?I never have been and am curious as to how its done.

    yep redc used to ring quite often, not heard from them for a while, they just ask you a serioes of questions which usually reflect the poll they are doing

    Yes, I was contacted last week by a Millward Brown Lansdowne representative. I think they usually only contact 1000 people so the odds of you getting called are very small.

    Just to give you an idea. I have no political affiliations, I have never partaken in one before and my phone no is ex directory. So I do believe it is totally random.

    I got a good laugh out of the question at my satisfaction rating for the party leaders. I basically said I was dissatisfied with them all :rolleyes:

    I used to work for Millward Brown. Yeah, it's totally random digit dialing. It's amazing how many phone numbers don't even connect though! Especially 085 numbers!
