    On my way home earlier I heard a debate on Newstalk.

    I am confused over who they are.

    There is the Socialist Party and People before Profit.

    Clare Daly & some connection to Dublin airport . She is probably Trevor Sargeants main competition in Swords

    I am totally lost over who is who and what they stand for.

    What organisations are they connected too & affiliated too.

    I'm guessing you are asking who the ULA are?
    United left Alliance is an alliance consisting of the Socialist Party, the People Before Profit Alliance, and the Workers and Unemployed Action Group.

    They stand for election in the hope that they may tear down democracy. The only alternative to them being in opposition is to not have a government at all. They want a revolution of sorts.
