My niece has decided the time has come to move on from her '02 Audi TT Quattro Coupe 1.8 T 225bhp

    approx 74k miles
    Black
always serviced and maintained mechanically as she must have reliability for her job.

Could do with a bit of a detail but is sound..Just get a was and thats it :D

What approx price should she expect for it??

I would advise you to take a look at carzone.ie which will give you a good indication. I'm not sure you will be much of a premium above the 180bhp model.

Unfortunatley you have one of those cars that will be too expensive to insure by those who would be most interested in buying it.

Ask €8500 ish and be willing to let it go for €7000 I reckon. A friend bought a 2001 225bhp one in silver with 110,000 miles on it from a main dealer almost 2 years ago for €11,000. Admittedly he got not a good deal but your niece's one has to be worth €7000. Chap on here earlier actually has a budget of €6000+ maybe and a TT is on his list.

I've been looking at these recently. Friend of mine got a 2001 180bhp which i'd been looking after for 18 months for less then €6k. It was 100% mint both mechanicaly and bodywork-wise. I've driven it a few times since and it's a seriously nice car to drive, quite sporty but refined at the same time.

I like the TT's, but i'd have an S3 for the (slightly) higher premium when it comes to purchasing I think.
