I agree, its a way of charging €20 for a test bull, look at the advice, use a team of genomic bulls to spread the risk yet we told there better than proven bulls. It may mean genetic gain is speeded up but I am still using bulls born in the 90s and they do as good if not better than modern genetics. As I said before only stock with known pedigree can be tested according to my ICBF, so they’re using the parents data too, not just the DNA

I have some young cows by Ocean View Zenith, Leif, Drake, Shottle, Lancalot here, my last stock stock bull was a Storm x Lee x Blackstar. Storm was born in 1991, he is a dinosaur but the heifers are smashing. You know what to expect with the oldies

I thought you were a big believer in Genomics?

Its awful that this has happened again. Sorry to see your bull included Stanflt, you must be gutted. Not wanting to sound insensitive here but of the bulls listed only GVV, NFT, GMZ have milking daughters and while they're good bulls, there not world beaters, the rest were young genomic bulls which are a dime a dozen.

Don’t get me wrong I hate to see this happen, its a blow to our AI future but not the end. Its important it doesn’t happen again
