Think this would probably be better in the Wrestling Travel subforum because its way too early to discuss the card.

    Hey Dubgal,

I actually haven't gotten my ticket yet - due to the short notice - have you gotten your tickets ?

Have you been to SUMMERSLAM in LA in the past two years ?

I will be booking my flights/hotel through a travel agency here in cork - most appropriate hotels for the staples at the moment seem to be -

    MILLENNIUM BILTMORE HOTEL

    OMNI HOTEL DOWNTOWN

But quiet close to the staples center itself!!!

I will be more than likely staying at one of these .

    Have you booked etc ....?
    :)

Yeah thats cool we should stay in touch the more the merrier.

Night of Champions was brilliant even though its one of the smaller PPV's it was very well organised we were outside the arena for 2 hours before the show statred they had like a BBQ type thing in the carpark with huge TV screens set up in the car park with all the classic matches on them everyone was sitting around at tables chilling none of this standing in a line for ages in the cold :D. I have the pics up on my facebook I dont know how to post them on here :o.

Yeah thats the hotel its looks good and it got good reviews online so hopefully it will be ok.

I have been going to SuMmerslam for a few years, including last couple of years at Staples Center. Today I didn't see any good ringside seats I was looking for, I was offered 3rd row ringside but didn't like the section at all, so I'll keep checking back ticketmaster waiing for more tickets being released.

As usually I'll be travelling with my wife and kid and we will be staying at Magic Castle Hotel in north Hollywood. I love LA!

Yeah the seats available were not good at all just checked them again a few minutes ago hopefully better ones will be released over the next few days

Yes don't worry, the problem is they can be released while we are sleeping :D 2 years ago I was Floor 1 front row, best section so far! And las year I bought my tickets just a month before the event and got floor 8, row 4, seats right on the ramp... I hope to get some good seats again this year!

My son wants to get seats at the ramp, when we went to Night of Champions we were sitting right behind Jerry Lawler, they were great seats Jeff Hardy came over after it went off the air and my son got to hold the belt and get his autograph he was delighted.

I'll have to keep the credit card on standby and just keep checking ticketmaster.

What other events are on over the weekend?

We usually do the Axxess on saturday and it's a great feeling because it's open air, and the weather is awesome! Last Summerslam they did Raw on monday at Staples center too, don't know if they're doing the same again...

I have seen you booked your hotel in Downtown, you should know there is not much to do there, maybe you should take a hotel in Hollywood and you'll be closer to the points of interest. You should take your son to Disneyland and Universal Studios, he'll love it! ;)

I was advised by the travel agent to stay close to the venue as I am a woman travelling on my own with a child thats actually why I had a look on here to see who else was going. I have tickets booked for universal studios and a few other things planned and hopefully we can catch raw on the Monday Night

I went to Summerslam in LA in 2009 so can share a few tips and stories!

I combined the trip with a driving holiday with 3 friends. They finished in Vegas then I made the journey to LA. Nearly didn't make it though as the night before I was due to travel I fell asleep in an internet cafe and missed my flight! Had to get the Greyhound coach so missed Axxess and only made it to my seat just as Rey and Dolph kicked things off.

Found LA to be a wicked city, met some cool fans on the train back to the hotel and then went drinking in the bar where Swingers was filmed, really cool place called The Dresden. Proper old school swing bar you should check it out if you have time.

How much were your tickets for axxess?

$30ish? I paid $125 off ebay for the Summerlam and Axxess ticket. Worked out around face value. Will be more now I'm sure.
