    Hi guys,

Basically hoping to sell my car during the week, but I seem to have misplaced my change of ownership certificate.

I was just wondering, does anyone here know if it's possible to get this done in the motor tax office there and then when I have the appropriate forms with me, instead of having to send it off to the department of transport and waiting a week or two for it to arrive for me?

Afaik you have to get the form from your local motor tax office (it costs €12), fill it out and go to your local Garda station to be stamped, then post it off and you will receive a replacement Cert a few days later.

Don't think it can be done there and then in the Motor Tax Office.

Print out rf134, get stamped by guards, go to tax office and pay them. Wait for cert to come in the post.
