Ok so this is my first post here! Im 17 (and a girl :p) and I've been trying to lose weight from about september and was succeeding until in november my granny who I was very close to passed away and I just wrecked all of my hard work with comfort eating and I stopped running.. needless to say I piled on the pounds.

Im 5ft 2.5 and 125 lbs at the moment and my goal is to get down to 110 lb, since new years I've lost 5 lbs so Im on track (slow but steady!) but Im going away the week after next and Im so worried about breaking my good habits! Im not worried about the excercise part as I'll be skiing and theres a pool so thats not a problem but I always tend to eat so much on skiing holidays... and foods like lots of bread, cheese, etc. :(

Any suggestions on how to stop myself from just caving in and eating loads?

    Help would be greatly appreciated!

Relax and enjoy your holiday. You won't put on much weigh in a week and can just be extra strict with yourself when you get back

When you are away skiing, it's not the food as much as the drink that causes the problems. When you stop for a snack, go for a black coffee rather than a hot chocolate with rum and whipped cream. Drink straight red wine rather than mulled wine which has loads of sugar and is so easy to knock back. In the bar, alternate every alcoholic drink with a glass of water.

In the restaurant, enjoy the food, just don't go back for seconds.
