Cigarettes sold in pharmacy: Your thoughts please

    The rationale here is that people who smoke will buy them anyway, the pharmacy might as well sell them.

    Should they start selling fags in pharmacies here?

    Well you could use that rationale for any commodity, e.g. "should we sell potatoes in pharmacies? Sure people who eat them will buy them anyway". You wouldn't sell a potato in a pharmacy because a pharmacy is a specialist healthcare shop (also beauty and skincare and other bits and bobs). Then there's the obvious point of cigarettes being completely at odds with the raison d'etre of a pharmacy- that is to sell products that increase health and wellbeing, which cigarettes obviously do not.
