guys, had a demo of one of these today, ... was inquiring about an iPhone but was shown the Samsung Omnia 7.

seems like a very nice phone ....but looking for opinions from any one who has a Samsung Omnia 7 or the Galaxy(which I believe is similar from a user pt of view)

what's it like for coverage, battery life, does it hang frequently, ....

I noticed it can handle(including editing) microsoft office files ... can all androids do this?

    thanks

The omnia7 is a windows phone 7 powered device, not android. WP7 is a good platform, but very much in it's infancy.

Being an MS device office is supported out if the box. Quick office is available for iPhone, not sure about android.

Well there are issues considering its a 1.0 release and were waiting for one big update to sort it out. You should look at Windows Phone 7 thread in mobiles and pda's forum. Most people that got Omnia 7 or other WP7 are quite happy quite happy with it. Amoled screen is a big plus. But for some 8gb of memory might be too little. Battery approx 2 days. But depends on how u use it really.
