    ok so i have a 2004 toyota avensis 1.6 petrol. the light in the boot isin't working. i tried replacing the bulb but that hasn't work. could someone please tell me what the problem is. if its a fuse can you tell me which fuse and where it is. thanks

    Welcome to Boards.

    If it was a fuse then other lights wouldn't be working. It might be the switch that turns on the light when the boot lid opens. Or a wiring problem maybe

    Open the boot with the car unlocked and other doors closed,
    Press the lock button on the remote, do the doors lock?

    have the same problem with a 98 avensis couldnt find the fault changed da bulb and tested the voltage and it was only 6 volts havent had a chance to find out why yet i'll let ya know when i find out
