Hey folks, made a bit of a mess of the title (I meant to say seriously tight budget). Anywho I'm looking for a new lens for my 7D as I'm about to start my first film project. While the stock lens is serviceable I feel that I would be much better off with a wider lens

The catch is, I've got a tiny, tiny, budget. Any und all suggestions would be more than appreciated

    Thanks all :)

on a seriously tight budget, then i would suggest buying a Canon 50mm f1.8 great little lens. Can be picked up for about €100. One of the best, if not the best lens at this price range

I use the canon 50mm a lot. It's great and you'll be able to shoot in serious low light situations.

There's some great filters you can find that can sort out noise in post.
