    Hi

Has anyone any experiences of travelling to Surrey (Guildford) in the UK either by sea or air (and subsequent trains etc...).

And does anyone know what the travel times on a Ferry are to Liverpool and Holyhead

This is by far the easiest route, The Reading train goes direct, or you can change at Redhill. It might even be a bit quicker than this.

By sail rail you would have to go to London Euston and then tube to Waterloo and to Guildford from there.

Thanks guys, still trying to decide the best way to go, I could be bringing someone for the company, so it seems the Ferry would be cheapest for us both

Ryanair are doing some very cheap flights at the moment. You might even get them for a tenner.

I've checked, 190 Euros, 10 Sterling for the train 310 seems to be the cheapest for the Ferries

Rail and Sail is €40 to London (that might even get you to Guildford, not sure).

Yes, but you can't use the automatic barriers.
