    does any1 no how much it would cost to put a 540 pto in to a tractor dat only has 1000,

    on some older tractors, dont you have to take out the shaft at the back and turn it around, or put in another one to switch from 540 to 1000.
    fairly simple if that is the case.
    could be miles off though, just some thing that came to mind.

    i bet this is about right 540 is the norm for most things so id imagine any machine with 1000 would have 540 ;)

    Is it a T190? Was checking the spec on them if so, and according to what I seen it should have both. Strange that. Most impliments are still 540.

    Contact a valtra dealer.

    Might be some different shaft available or something.

    could be big, could be small. a quick phone call to the dealer should tell all.
