A new Police force

I think the police force should be almost entirely replaced by highly trained dogs, they have already proved their effectiveness and loyalty to the task in just about every job they’ve been put to. I think they should be used on a massive scale to completely replace the police system bar a few key departments. There could be kennels all over every city and the entire country where dogs would be trained to carry out civil policing tasks. Outside of training and feeding the dogs would be allowed to roam free as they please seeking out civil disobedience.

It would put a complete stop to street violence for a start. Dogs could be trained to follow any women they see walking alone at night as protection, check in on old people, protect schools and banks simply by being within hear shot of them. Think what would happen to weekend binge drinking with packs of violence hating trained dogs roaming the streets, dogs already distrust drunk people.

There would be no arguing with a dog, everybody would know this and wouldn’t bother. Trained Dogs are dedicated, beyond corruption, only care about doing what they where trained to do, would always be on duty and have real teeth to put real fear into those that would cross them.

I Can think of many, many problems a dog police force would solve. Even organised crime could be taken down by dogs with keen noses. Sniffer dogs could follow the smell of drugs/money/guns/bombs to the source, then call in more support by barking. While dogs may not be able to break into a premises I think criminals will turn themselves in over the phone when they see 40 or 50 dogs waiting outside for them in the morning.

I’m sure if you where to think about most of the crime people see on a daily basis you’d agree a large pack of trained dogs is the perfect solution.

We could stop spending money on uniforms, cars, guns and much of the legal system would be freed up as dogs don’t do paperwork. We would save a fortune and make the country a much safer place to live in.

These are trained working dogs, just teach them to poop in a certain place, trained dogs can do that.

Depends what your looking for at checkpoints and dogs could catch people that have just left the scene of a murder on foot, plus they'd more than likely be on the scene quicker to take advantage of that fact.
