    Hi guys,

I've had to replace the keyboard on the Sony Vaio, model PCG-7154M. Anyone who has done this before will know its a pain in the a$$ to do because the whole thing has to be taken apart to remove the keyboard. I'm in the process of putting it all back together again, but it won't power on for me. When I plug in the power cable the battery will charge alright, but nothing happens when I press the power button. I've checked all the connections and everything seems fine. The fan doesn't even attempt to move. nothing happens!

Any suggestions on what could be wrong or what I should do to check?

    Thanks

Did you disconnect the power & battery when taking it apart? Reset cmos? Checked power cable for sufficient power? RAM seated back correctly?
