Hey, I'm getting married in Galway in September and looking for a florist recommendation... has anyone here had any good/bad experiences with local companies, or can recommend a great place?

    Thanks!

    First: congrats! :)

didn't get wedding flowers, but I got one of the nicest bouquets off my husband for Christmas, from a florist in Knocknacarra (I'll ask him for the name later if you want)).

    Was really impressed!

And congrats - enjoy the planning stages ;-)

This Lady has over ten years experience in wedding floristry, AFAIK shes still doing flowers along side wedding planning. Best Of Luck.

wouldnt touch yes flowers with a barge pole, the owner has no personality and his customer service skills need a lot of brushing up,my experience with this guy(we had them booked to do our wedding flowers but then we rang one day enquiring on getting a wreath for a family members grave he blatantly got thick with my wife for enquiring re prices, needless to say he didnt realise that we were his customers,
i paid him a visit the next day and gave him a piece of my mind and told him where to shove his business.... ) has me happily informing people not to go near him,

Go Dutch flowers in Salthill are very good and very experienced. They would be worth a try.
