Since when did Argos start delivering their catalogue to your door ? They've just been round my estate leaving them at the doorstep.

Suppose I deserved that one :p , there will be a few houses without, just seen a dog making off with one.

I get my catalogue delivered by email. It's more convenient but have to admit delivery times are a little slower. Oooh millenium falcon!

Fair play to that dog, those catalogies are heavy enough.

I heard if you drop an Argos catalogue off a 2 story building, it can kill a man..

.. or lure him into buying a pressure washer at €69.99.

Not that surprising, sure people are leaving bags of drugs on doorsteps now, any thing to get you hooked.

Possibly a bunch of bored teenagers who robbed a load of Argos catalogues with no way to dispose of them?

Argos sell everything except false limbs and sex aids. Discuss.

(note : Electric toothbrushes are not stricty sex aids)

It's worth the effort - there's 2 for 1 on dog toys today.

Had to laugh when i saw this !! My mate just paid near 300 quid for a new fancy letterbox and installation, just one day later some tossbag decides to try and fit an argos catologue through (quite forcefully) his letter box and managed to mangle it !! He rang Argos and lifted them out of it....
Now he gets a new letterbox :D

€59.99 my friend. Oh Yes. It'd be rude not to.

Never heard of them doing that untill now, but now that they are doing it i think its a good service, better than eircom putting a phone book to every house

They're fairly hefty yokes too. There's always the recycling bin. Or else you could deposit your rubbish on their doorstep.

It's easier to set fire to a concrete block than an Argos catalogue, an arsonist's nightmare.:(
