Camping somewhere between lehinch and galway??

Hey, Planning on traveling from lehinch up to galway with a couple of friends sometime in april, and wana stop off on the way for a camping session. There will be a good few boards so would love to get somewhere by the sea with some waves.. Any suggestions for good camping spots?

Try Fanore for some camping with the sea out in front, not awesome waves, but could do the trick. Pretty cold and wet in April for camping if you are thinking of tents, although you could always sleep in your wetsuits
