Paranoid or drive on piers allot?

    1. Engineers report
    1. Proof of insurance
    1. Extra Proof of taxation
    1. Receipt for additional silencer fitted
    1. Driving licence.
    1. copy of import documentation
    1. Copy of NCT report

I'm trying to get the vehicle tested at a garda station with a Db meter so i can have a letter for that.

Lets just say im well prepared to be pulled over and questioned by the Guardai as it happens allot when your car is modified car so its best to be wayyy over prepared.

    Normally in mine:

    Few CDs
    Carpark Discount Vouchers
    Pens
    a High Vis
    Torch
I've been known to keep gloves in there on cold days :P

Have an emergency hammer in the drivers door. My dad would always have one in the centre console and for the sake of a few euro it could save your life. I know a fella who owns a garage who was driven into howth harbour recently by some maniac on a test drive, he had to kick the windows out to escape. Wouldnt work in every car.

I drive a lot on road above lakes, ocean, piers, etc...

It's good to be prepared ;)

BTW. What exactly is the engineer report, where can you get it, and how much does it cost?

From what I can remember, I have.....

    - Ipod (which is connected to my headunit)
    - Sat Nav (with holder and cigarette charger)
    - Very small torch
    - Ice scrapper
    - Disposable camera (in case of an accident)
    - Pen and a piece of paper
    - Deodorant
    - Case for the face of my headunit
    - Oh and a spongebob square pants demistifier pad :D

    Car handbook
    Phone Charger
    Phone Mount
    FM Transmitter for MP3 player
    Spare Bulb
    Wipes
    Prescription Sun Glasses
    Gloves

The ashtray is currently in there as well, I dont smoke so took it from its usally spot so there was more space in the cubby hole beneath the dash.

Never see the point in leaving the ice scrapper in the car. Sometimes you need to scrap snow/ice from the door to get into it.

To confirm the car is road worthy, costs €100 to €150

Add in two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, and a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers... Also, a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether, and two dozen amyls and you're Raoul Duke

If anyone wants a collection of various religious paraphernalia, I cleared various bits out of glovebox when I bought the car? Padre Pio is staying on the back window tho, think the structural integrity depends on on him...

The usual, car manuals, tissues, ice scraper, etc...
But one thing to me stands out.
I have never removed the locknut for the alloys from the glovebox.
If you leave it at home and something happens that requires you to remove the wheel (puncture, accident, etc...) you're stuffed if you don't have it.
And NO ONE is going to remember to take the nut out of the car with them every time and if they do, the one time they'll forget it, they'll have a puncture, I guarantee it.
