Digital on Toshiba TV

    I am trying to get the new Digital TV signal on my Toshiba TV

    The model is the Toshiba 32" AV61*D* Digital Series (can anyone tell me if this has digital)

    I go an Aeriel from powercity (LLOYTRON AMPLIFIED TV AERIEL)
    When I plugged it in it found no stations. I have since returned the Aeriel

    Do I need anything else with this or do I just need a receiver box. If I need the box what would you recommended.

    PowerCity have one for 100e but I'm not paying that for just a few station.

    If one station was a scummy looking digital RTE2 ( and the other not RTE1) your TV is incompatible with irish DTT so bring it back ( tesco was it :p ) .

    Was the second a news channel ???

    If you got RTE1 and RTE2 only you probably picked up analogue VHF, = wrong aerial need a UHF aerial to test again.

    As an older discontinued model, I'm pretty sure it doesn't have MPEG4 tuner. A quick Google seems to confirm MPEG2/Freeview (UK DTT) only.
