Barbour wax, lads all the way.. not like the cheap ones you get for 40 or so quid with the padding in em...bought a beaufort classic great coat large game pocket in the back( royal family really like this for the sneaky bird or two from next door:p)only fault with it is the breast pockets let in water in a downpour

Barbour have a really good customer service or least they did the last time I used them. Maybe give them a shout Beretta and see what they can do.

4 years ago I tried on a Barbour Beaufort Jacket in a shop in Cork, the jacket was priced at €295. That night I was looking on the internet and bought the same jacket for €154 from a crowd in England, had it delivered to my door 2 days later.

No experience of the jacket in question, have a barbour endurance jacket, its a good jacket for game shooting, used to use it for stalking, but was no use for crawling over the hills in wicklow, i use swazi gear now its brilliant clothing, use a base layer, mid layer fleece and thar jacket, it keeps you completley dry and it breathes which means after dragging your animal you are not ringing wet with sweat.

Have used a wax jacket, waste of time you sweat like a pig in them and they are not a warm jacket.
