Hello I'm an irish citizen, living in dublin.

And I'm about to undertake paid work in america - but I don't have an american personal current account; I'm with permanent tsb and have an account in natwest - from when I lived in the u.k.

    Anyway what I'm wondering is:

Is it possible for a non u.s. citizen to open an american current account - so that I can use it for receiving and withdrawing from ATM's etc (when I'm in america) - while In ireland.

If so how would I go about doing it - and what are the best banks to choose from.

    thanks
