Plumbing and Electrics in Utility Room

Does anybody have any suggestions for how to neatly accommodate the plumbing ( central heating manifold and 7 or 8 pipes up wall to first floor ) and electrics ( fuse box ) in a utility room ?

I'd like it do be as neat as possible so was wondering if you could just take the back out of a larder unit in a corner and box the top of it to provide space for pipes etc to the first floor ?

Any recommendations - what have people done ? I hate to see unneccesary boxing etc

I put my UFH manifold etc.. in a press in the utility and I built out my wall so that I could recess mount my consumer unit (fuse box). It is totally flush with the wall.
