Good to finally have an appointment made.
Anyone know anything more about Kevin Ankrom?

Don't know too much about his exploits in the US and Asia bit from what i have seen of his interviews during his NZ role he seems to realize that there needs to be an emphasis on the transitioning of junior athletes into elites at senior level.
Given our current crop of talented juniors his role could be pivotal in the build up to Rio (more so than London). Seems like this could be a good move on behalf of the AAI though will see how it pans out.

Mr Ankrom is in situ a few weeks now? Anyone know how he's getting on? Any general feedback on his ideas? What things do you think he should be targeting? Are there structural changes needed in Irish athletics, calendar, club set up, club school relationship etc etc??
