Hi does anyone know th reason for light blue hot water in bath. could it be linked to new cistern , is it copper, and is there is anything i can do to get rid .Thanks

are you living in the countryside ? if yes it may be worth getting your water tested for a chemical and ph analysis usually blue in the water would indicate copper corrosion, did you have to get a new cylinder because it leaked ?

living cork city.New cylinder abt 6 mths ago because of hairline cracks on the top which were discovered when immersion element being changed

so you defo arent connected to a well? Can you check your water tank in the attic to see if there is any discolouration there?

blue is usually a sign that the copper is being corroded , if your on mains supply water from council then i cant explain the blue as the water is treated .
usually i only encounter this problem on houses with their own well,
