Hi, i'm trying to clear out some space, and have a stack of old books.

Is there a book exchange around Limerick or somewhere near by?

    Cheers

Just drop them into any of the charity shops in town. They'd be delighted to take them :)

I am also looking for this. Not charity.

Recycle place near the Cement factory near Mungret
had a specific section for used books last time I was there,
nothing stopping anyone from swapping them for others.
They had a book shelf and all with them neatly stacked.

Bring them into the book shop on little catherine street. You might get a few bob for them.

She also hung up on my wife when she called to offer as a volunteer.

Why not approach a cafe or bar and see if they'll start a book exchange shelf (provided the books are totally crap)? Most places wouldn't mind a give a book, take a book system in place if it brought in a bit of extra custom.

thanks everyone, some helpful idea's there....

wouldn't mind a couple bucks for some, but also interested in getting something in exchange if they have anything.
