    Hi Lads-
I'm looking for recommendations for a good trap gun, preferably for less than 2 grand. What's your opinion and why?
    Thanks!

    Browning/Miroku, 30inch barrel,**adjustable stock***.

Best claybuster on the market at the price range.
When stock adjusted to fit you its a deadly weapon.

    Many succcesses and straights.

Reliable and simple to get repaired if needed.

Not sure but you may not get a new one but lots of very good used ones around.
The adjustable is a must for serious Trapshooting in a 'budget' gun.

Thats what I think about your query. Best of luck.

    Plus one on the Miroku.

A good gun to get started as the price is right and a good gun to stay with as they are well made and proven. Miroku knows how to make a good gun and it makes most of the over-unders in the Browning range . The M38 is based on a proven Browning design, the Superposed/B25 .
Miroku MK-38 Grade 1 through 5, Trap with adjustable stock.

I have a 25 year old Miroku Sporter and a 20 year old Browning Trap. Never had a single problem with either in all that time. And if you're a lazy ba$tard like me, they don't need cleaning very often;)

browning cynergy trap. lovely gun to shoot. i have the cynergy sporter, and for me it shoots high like a trap gun so love it for shooting trap.
if you go to a shooting ground/gun dealer, you can try before you buy.
    also recomend the miroku trap.
