    Heckled??????????????

    Is that all?

He is lucky he didnt end up starring in Deliverance 2 while visiting leitrim.

It doesn't show Enda but I love the look politicians faces when they get hit by the likes of this guy.

Micheal Martin had it on the news where a guy was ranting over and over again in his face, saying how much of a shame it was he would never vote for FF again.

Nine times out of ten they look epically sickened, as if someone has a dagger in their side and giving it an ever so stuttle twist.

The heckling came from the crowd telling the bearded fella to touch on!
Beardie goes on a rant about " answer me one question blah blah".
He also comments on Enda being "the next leader of the country" and the "gobshítes" who ran the country for the last ten years and that will male the front page.....

Yup, you can hear his bearded partner say when the media move in "Stop now, you are embarrassing me!" Ha

In fairness though, the beard does seem to be either very drunk or not 100% mentally.

In fairness half the party recently wanted him out! His predecessor john bruton didnt exactly sing his praises when he (john) apeared on vincent browne.

Well I didnt know the man enough to dislike him however no I know he is a man who avoids going on a debate giving various diverse reasons. During this "busy" schedule in leitrim he had time to stop for dinner. All this time people are facing bankruptcy, mortage negotiation and increasing debt. Enda thinks he deserves our vote yet while people are suffering he makes excuses not to put his case to us on one extra debate. Well in some ways I admire fine gael but in this case hew can f"ck off if he thinks i will automatically throw him my vote.

In one of the videos the reporters ask numerous times "are you the brother of Aengus Ó Snodaigh"....the plot thickens!

    Or alternatively

    Real, in-your-face investigative journalism:
Reporter 1: Jaysus Fintan, he looks a lot like Aengus O Whatshisface...
Reporter 2: OMG you are so roysh Declan, now dersh a shcoop

Nobody outside FG is allowed to engage with Enda unless his handlers approve. Enda and FG dictate what is/isn't allowed. If you're not happy you'll be told to "shut up" and be shouted down. Sure look at some of the responses to this thread, calling the protester a plank.

Agree, if he'd only have shut the fúck up when he made his first couple of points that Enda chickened out and could have taken the "two muppets", he'd have been a hero, but nut boy keeps shouting and heckling random words when getting his question answered.

Seemingly it went on for over 6 minutes. Beardy boy, back to the hospital - both of you.

After yer wan from Dynasty having a go at Bertie, I'm suspicious of any of these hecklers / protesters now.

Hate the way this eejit is been given any attention at all.

Couldn't believe that they actually bothered to play the audio on Newstalk this morning.

Seems that those who shout loudest get attention regardless of whether or not they are actually making any sense.

Easy for that fella and others to stand up and start spitting bile at politicians but what have they ever done for anyone but themselves.

Has he some sort of proven track record of public service that entitles him to be heard on the national airwaves?

Has he any specific ideas on how to fix the problems of the country?

Had to post this. Imagine Enda in that situation

Anyway the guy who heckled him, reminded me of that guy from the Frontline a while back. Who went on a big tirade about the government.

Didn't Enda also get roared at by a lady in Louth (conversation was on the Airwaves). The lady questioned how he could run the country when he could not employ a cleaner. Basically, her sister went to his constituency office in Castlebar. But the sister was not happy that she was getting the attention she deserved, as Enda had the phone in one hand and a brush in another.. The sippet was played of Newstalk.

I will always remember with laughter, with a tinge of saddness, the Connacht Final in 2010 in Castlebar. The main stand (not the fancy one) had been packed out and people were moving and froing to get space at the back of the goal. By half time it was still moving, annoying for seated supporters. Anyway, Out pops Enda, no doubt trying to do the man of the people walk , ala CJ Haughey (yes, yes, no need to answer an that character) quite a few Sligo people, some clearly in Young FG (I know, as I asked a few) ran over to shake his hand. Enda loved it (in truth any politican would) but got over excited, been the decent fellah he is, was trying to shake everyones hand, even if uninvited. He then returned to the Rossies (D Naughten country) and low and behold, one Rossie shouted that they were the only points he was going to get today (I believe he was ahead in the opinion poll) and told him to clear off, this lead to more heckling by the Rossies. Poor Enda went away very fast and embarrased. (possibly the fact that Roscommon is FF country in most parts probably don't help) - it was funny

But what does a politican do when he is heckled? Is there any point starting a conversation or trying to argue? Seems like your damned if you did and damned if you don't
