rinse every evening I find is the best, that way there is never a build up of milk residue.....alas this doesnt always happen, if not then powerhose the sh**e :D out of it...I use some chlorine then with hot water, works grand for me

a neighbour of mine used washing up liquid to wash his milking machine as he had no detergent:eek: took hours to get all the bubbles out

I rinse 'em out after use and once a year use hot water & milking m/c detergent - it's strong stuff :).

    What a nutter

Regarding the milk bars surely everybody is rinsing them after every use?? They would stink if you didn't

Anyway we rinse after every use, drawing each teat, and regularly wash it with the hot wash from the parlour
