hi there i seem to be having a problem with my m4 dboys s system again =(. basically my batteries wont last in it in cold weather they just seem to die out of no where like i have 1 brand new 9.6v gave it a charge worked grand at home then brought it out to skirmish the next day and it lasted me one game. then someone gave me a loan of a fresh battery and it died within 10mins and i didnt even fire more then 100rnds .i asked someone to then try it in there gun and it worked perfectly in there gun for the rest of the night. something i notice to is if i leave the gun for about 10-15mins without trying to fire it after getting the dead battery it will fire but at a very low ROF for about rnds .this has been happening to every battery i used in it so far.
so does anyone know if its my gun that broken or is it the batteries because on all the games everyone else seemed to last the day on one battery and they were fireing more then me.

    thanks

Sounds like dboysitis :) 2 things spring to mind. The motor and or stripped wire somewhere.

Could also be a broken connector (motor or gearbox to battery)

i dont know if it could be the wirong cos i had an issue with the trigger where a wire snaped and i got the gun rewired and if it was a loose connection y would it stop and then come back with a really low rof

Something as simple as shaking the gun could connect/disconnect the wires and if it wasn't properly connected you wouldn't be getting full power = low rof. That or it's your motor.

Strangely enough I had a look at one of my old AEGs last night to try fix it up and it had a similiar problem. The motor wouldn't turn properly even with a 9.6v battery. I took the motor and out and turned it on and one of the connections inside the motor was literally lighting up with the heat. It's an unbranded chinese one and it got plenty of use so I'm not too worried but this may be what's causing your problem?
