i need to replace a batt. pack i have and not sure what to get.
the user manual of the device says "internal power supply DC 12V 0.4A, external battery charger AC 110-240V". on the charger it says output 12V@0.4A. the pack is '3 on 3' AAA size batterys. is it a missprint in the manual and its a 7.2V pack that i should be getting?
    thanks in advance

Got a pic of the batteryu, and specifically any test on it - that might help...

it registers as full after 1min of chargeing.if i charge it a few times on a digital timer(1min charge each time) it lasts a bit longer.if i charge like this tho it discharges very quick when left for a day or 2.it could be the chrono internals at fault but i dont know how to find out. so if i get a new batt it should clear that up for me. it has no markings on it just normal black shrink wrap and is 3 on top of 3 AAA size batts. i figure that 1.2v each x 6 = 7.2v right or wrong??

Probably - as the battery is knackered, you could always strip off the heatshrink and see what's written on the cells themselves....
