I have just been on gaa.ie and ticketmaster.ie seeking tickets for 1 adult + 2 kids for the Dublin v Tipp and Dublin v Cork dbl header next Saturday week in Croke Pk. Seems they have changed their policy, in that 1 adult cannot purchase 2 kids tickets....it seems that it has to be on a 1:1 or 2:2 or 3:3 ratio etc.

What sort of crazy idea is this ? I would be very surprised if this dbl header will be anywhere near a sell out and yet they come up with a policy like this ?

I have been very happy with the GAAs family ticket policy of recent years, but this seems to be a big retrograde step imo.

Think you got the wrong end of the stick there. I'm sure you're able to get 1 adult and 2 children.

Went in this morning again and both tickets.ie and ticketmaster.ie have the following information :

    tickets.ie :
FAMILY PACKAGE TICKETS admit one adult and one juvenile at a reduced price.
Family Package tickets must be bought in multiples of two, for example:

    Ticketmaster.ie
    Family Child Seated Ticket
Family tickets must be sold in strict limits of 1 Adult to 1 Child, 2 Adults to 2 Children etc.

However, this morning tickets.ie does allow me select 1 adult and 2 child tickets (Lower cusack section 313 - right in the corner).

Ticketmaster.ie says no tickets available for categories selected.

All a bit confusing to be honest.
