    If you want to tutor in the Vec or Fas courses then you'd need a certificate in training and education ( NUIM) or a certificate / diploma in adult ed (Nui) or sometimes they require a degree in English, Maths, or Social studies to tutor certain courses.

    Without sounding like I'm trolling...haven't you asked this question a few times now?

    Regardless, the answer is that the PGDE is the Irish teaching qualification and the theory is that you need it to become a teacher...
