    Hi all,

I'm a total beginner to Java and was looking from sort of crash grids if anyone can do them etc. I have not done any programming in a long time. I'm ready to go with eclipse and I'd like to get up to speed with the basics.

Can anyone offer or know of someone offering grinds in the Dublin area.

    thank you

Programmers are still in high demand at the moment. I don't think your going to find any who would be willing to give you some grinds.

Advice around this would be if your lecturer or whoever is teaching you is being a bit vague, grab a book. It helped me hugely because the simple language in some books is so easy to understand. If you actually go by the book and can go through each chapter understanding what was just said then you'll come up smelling of roses.

There is also plenty of websites out there that offer help of your having trouble with specific bits of code

    www.youngcoders.com
    and stackoverflow.com are 2 examples.

Please read the posting rules before you post on The stack though or you will be riddled with bad comments. They're very picky about whats said.
