FF have announced their plan and included is this gem for broadband:

Continue the rollout of the National Broadband Scheme

This scheme is now "complete" according to ex-Minister Ryan so how can it be continued?

It's good to see such a forward looking plan and such deep thought put into a critical part of our infrastructure...

There's a little bit more in the Telecommunications section but its pretty much where Eamon Ryan left it. ; no money, no structure and not a date or a concrete commitment to be seen.
    In government, Fianna Fáil will:
Make next generation broadband available to more businesses. (page 8)

    Telecommunications
    • The Next Generation Broadband Taskforce will work with industry to
enhance the business case for investment in NGN (Next Generation
    Network) delivery.
    • Appropriate State investment will be undertaken in cases of market failure.
    • The use of state infrastructure for the roll out of NGN networks will be
    maximised. (page 16/17)

God, It's a shame Fianna Fáil weren't in power for the last 15 years, isn't it!

We'd have a grand country if only they had been.

    Meh.

Fianna Fáil must have those two holes confused, because there is plenty of bs coming out of his mouth!
