    I think these may be for the export market. Importers e.g Italy and France are very picky about hair colour when Importing cattle! E.g Charolais must be snow white,Simmentals and Limousines must be red! etc Maybe this is the requirement for Fresians?

    Friesians generally have a white patch on their forehead with a black head while holsteins generally have a white band with 2 black eye patches
